![]() Seravy confirmed over on the MoM Fan Discord that there's a been a bit of communication between them about AI behaviour etc. Going hex was a bold move, will be interesting. I hope they consult with Seravy and make it as good as possible, and make it moddable so the community can also tweak it so it survives another 2+ decades. This could fail or it could be super successful. Originally posted by Warsmith:I wish them all the best I really do. Or whether they're just simply modifying their Thea 2 engine to an approximation of classic MoM. I would be interesting to know if MuHa has reverse engineered any of MoM's assembly code like Seravy and some others have done over the years. They thanked me for the info but I have no idea whether they passed that info on to MuHa and if it helped them develop their new engine in any way. ![]() ![]() I did make a thread for Slitherine regarding possible sources of MoM engine code a while back here: Hopefully Seravy's source code might be released in the future for people to do cool things with. CoM2 (for windows) Seravy had to build everything from the ground up in a new engine but he did it quite quickly due to his intimate knowledge of MoM's inside workings. CoM1 was Seravy assembly hacking the original game. Unlikely as unfortunately the original MoM source code was lost long ago.
